EuroCALL conference in Nottingham/UK (31.08. – 03.09.2011)

The project consortium will be represented at the European Conference on Computer-Assisted Language Learning (EuroCALL) from 31.8. to 3.09.2011 by the participation of the project partner Saarland University who will also give a talk on “Dialogues for CALL: Towards an open environment for computer-based communicative activities“. This talk presents the aims of the ALLEGRO project and Saarland University’s latest achievements in the field of dialogue (interactive dialogues for exercising oral expression). It also allows the consortium to make the project known to an audience of experts.

The EuroCALL conference is a very specialised conference which is organised by the European Association for Computer-Assisted Language Learning every year since 1993. This conference turned into a renowned meeting point for developers of the CALL technology and language teachers not only from Europe but from all over the world.
